Why do millionaire's sign-up as contestants on the Apprentice?

Answer: Sport! Fame! The love of the the crowd. EGO!

Why did some Roman Emperors want to risk their lives in the Roman Colloseum and become Gladiators? The Colloseum was reserved for criminals and outcasts. If your're emperor of an empire, why would you want to risk your life as a Gladiator? The answer is EGO "sport", fame. Even rich people have dreams!

Even some Apprentice losers have made money off the Apprentice. The winners certainly have bragging rights and will profit themselves; and they get the media exposure.
